Profile
About Me
I have worked as a clinical psychologist within a cancer psychology support service for the past 10 years.
I can offer a safe space to discuss the impact cancer has had on your life, whether you are directly affected or you are a friend or family member.
I can provide support at any point along the
cancer pathway; from initial diagnosis, through treatment, fear of cancer recurrence, adjustment and palliative support.
I use an integrative approach - drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy, compassionate and acceptance approaches and am trained in EMDR to help with processing previous traumatic experiences.
Education, Qualifications and Experience
I completed a doctorate in clinical psychology in 2012 and worked in a cancer psychology service for my first 10 years after qualifying.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
I have a postgraduate certificate in Compassion Focused Therapy
