About Me
A Senior Cancer Nurse Specialist, specialising in Blood Cancers, I have extensive experience supporting anyone with a cancer diagnosis, their loved ones and friends. I have worked in a variety of roles including hospital, (both NHS and the Private sector), community, palliative care, education and the
charity sector. Every person's cancer experience is different and i am passionate about individualised, person focused holistic assessment of needs and concerns, to support people to improve quality of life and enhanced well-being.
Services I offer;
- ‘Prehabilitation’ assessment, providing information and practical advice to improve your strength and tolerance of treatment before you begin.
- End of treatment assessment, in support of recovery, receive practical advice to manage the long-term effects of cancer treatment and recommendations for helpful services and resources.
- Problem-solving session, an opportunity to talk to a qualified cancer nurse if you have specific concerns or questions and would benefit from one-to-one advice and support.
