Having trained and worked initially as a midwife, for the past 12 years I have worked as a psychotherapist in the NHS and a 3rd sector cancer charity working collaboratively to provide therapy for individuals, families and couples affected by a diagnosis of cancer.
issues around grief and loss, life transitions, relationships of all kinds, self esteem and identity, LGBTQ, fertility, menopause, anxiety and low mood.
I am able to draw on a number of modalities from theoretical training and experience to use a blend of psychotherapeutic approaches including Systemic/Relational, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and I can also provide Clinical Hypnotherapy techniques for breathing, mindfulness and embodied work.
Finding the right therapist for you is so important and I am happy to provide an initial 20 minute online or telephone appointment to have a chat about this with no obligation.
I consider myself to be a warm, welcoming and affirming practitioner and am able to provide a professional, containing and safe space for you to be able to talk.
